Check Out The Badass Babes of PS4
I originally wanted to do a top ten list, but with so many amazing gaming characters and genres out there, how can you put a number on a woman's perfection? So in no particular order, here is my list of...
THE Hottest Women in Gaming!
Click on the photo of each character respectively, if you would like to learn more!
The women of Overwatch are a refreshingly diverse and attractive girl squad!
Don't get me wrong, no one is expecting to have a body quite like the somewhat hyper-sexualized female characters, like Symmetra or Mercy, any time soon, but we can imagine a future world where super heroes and heroines have rich and storied pasts, depth of character and a unique identity -- not only a personal identity, but a cultural identity as well.
This is so much more satisfying for gamers like myself, who grew up choosing the one or two available female characters because they were there, like Princess Peach and Lara Croft, which is kind of like asking a boy to choose between Mario and G.I. Joe for 90% of their gaming childhood lol...
WAIT, WHAT WAS I TALKING ABOUT AGAIN?
Anyway, those days are gone! Hallelujah! Overwatch is proof that in the unrealistic world of Supers, there can be many shapes, sizes and colors -- hell, there's even a place for robots and whatever thing Reaper is supposed to be now...
It makes the lack of a campaign and traditional "story" element completely acceptable to me (as long as they continue to release video and comic companion content, that is), because I actually get a real impression from each of the characters.
I can feel the deep rage and contempt held in Widowmaker's posture and gaze, the sense of duty mixed with resentment in Pharah, or the dogmatic idealist in the perfectly primped Symmetra.
I love that the female characters in Overwatch are memorable and compelling, and it's even more exciting that their cultural beliefs compliment or perhaps even necessitate their gameplay styles, as much as their looks and skins!
Bravo, Overwatch! The attention to detail and development for each individual character, really makes this cast of diverse characters worthy of high praise.
Altering Mei's appearance to look much thinner AND calling it a "bug."
TSK TSK, OVERWATCH
I MEAN, COME ON... A BUG?
Leave our perfectly annoying, but uniquely amazing, Mei the F*** alone please.
